Last updated 19 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how BLIMP collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us or work with us, and the rights available to you under UK data protection law.
Who we are
BLIMP ("BLIMP", "we", "us") is a Meta advertising agency based in the UK, owned by Lucas Viana, trading as BLIMP. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Data protection enquiries: lucas@heyblimp.com
Personal data we collect
- Call bookings. When you book a call through Calendly, we receive your name, email address, the time selected and any information you provide in the booking form, such as your brand or website.
- Video audit requests. When you request a video audit through our form, provided by Tally, we receive the information you submit, typically your email address and your brand's website.
- Correspondence. When you email or message us, we keep the content of that correspondence and your contact details.
- Business outreach. We may contact individuals at brands we believe we can help. For this we use business contact details, such as name, role and work email address, obtained from publicly available sources or business data providers. We may also review a brand's publicly available ads in the Meta Ad Library.
- Clients. When you become a client, we process the information needed to deliver our services, including access to your advertising accounts and business performance data. This is governed by our agreement with you.
- Website usage. If you consent to advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel collects information about your visit, as described under Cookies below.
The calculator on our website runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to us or stored.
How we use personal data and our lawful bases

We do not sell personal data.
Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only with service providers that support our business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Calendly, for call scheduling
- Tally, for our video audit form
- Our email and outreach providers
- Our website hosting provider
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, through the Meta Pixel, where you have consented
- Slack or WhatsApp, where we use them to communicate with clients
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the Meta Pixel on this website with your consent only. The Pixel is not activated unless you select "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you select "Reject", or make no choice, it is not used.
Where you consent, the Meta Pixel collects information about your visit, including the pages you view and whether you request a call or a video audit, and shares it with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. We use this information to measure the performance of our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our website. Meta may combine it with other information it holds about you and acts as an independent controller for that processing. Meta sets cookies such as _fbp for this purpose, which expire after up to 90 days. Further details are available in Meta's Privacy Policy.
We also store your cookie preference in your browser so that we do not ask you on every visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of each page.
Our booking page (Calendly) and video audit form (Tally) may set cookies that are strictly necessary for those services to function. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
How long we keep personal data
- Call and video audit requests: up to two years after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
- Business outreach contacts: until you opt out, or two years after our last contact, whichever is sooner. If you opt out, we keep only the minimum information needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
- Client records: for the duration of our engagement and six years afterwards, to meet tax and legal requirements.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict or object to how we use your data, including objecting to direct marketing at any time
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it
To exercise any of these rights, email lucas@heyblimp.com. We will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns first.
Security
We use established, reputable service providers, limit access to personal data to those who need it, and protect our accounts with two-factor authentication.
